By accessing 40 years of historical data for your exact location and integrating that information with real-time weather data from the ET Weather Sensor, the controller distributes precise amounts of water throughout your landscape, zone by zone, at optimal times of the day. At the end of the day, the weather data updates to the watering schedule and adjusts for rain, impending rain, and freezing temperatures.
This innovative component also factors in the elements of each zone, including soil, slope, sun, shade, and plant material. By pulling in data from Toro® soil sensors, the controller further customizes efficient water distribution to each zone in your landscape. The soil sensors detect the moisture levels in your soil which can vary in terms of shade and low spots.
The controller device is straight-forward and intuitive with an LED display and shortcut buttons, making programming and system adjustments easy. Your technician can also access an advanced screen with specialized features if the situation arises.
