I dug up the leaking valve box and needed pro advice. The technician arrived and was able to tighten things up and stop the leak. Then he only charged me for a service call. Very reasonable.

We had an old sprinkler system that hadn't been used for years and had a main line break. Dave and Hank came out and fixed the main break and then assessed the entire system for leaks and functionality. They identified each of the zones and what sprinkler heads were on each. Then we talked about what made sense (we had a significant landscaping overhaul since the system was installed decades ago) and ended up moving around some of the heads. They had suggestions about how to address some areas, but weren't pushy at all, and for some of those we agreed to tackle them in the future if they became a problem. They were prompt, professional, friendly, and did great work. I highly recommend them!

Hank Wells of Conservation Irrigation called 15 minutes prior to his arrival and arrived on time, as scheduled. He quickly assessed our system, which had two leaking valves, four leaks in our drip system, and two sprinkler heads needing replacement. He informed me of the cost of the repairs to obtain my approval prior to commencing his work. I was impressed with how quick the repairs were made. He also set up a watering schedule on the system controller for once-a-week watering considering how much time was needed for each section considering the sprinkler head types and their respective water flow rates. Last, but not least, Hank was very personable. It was a pleasure meeting and visiting with him.

Having a great lawn depends on three things: dirt, grass, and water. The dirt and grass are pretty stable from week to week, but getting the water in the right place at the right time in an ever-changing climate each week is a challenge. I have had the opportunity of working with Ian and Dave over at Conserva Irrigation of West Austin on several projects now, and each time they provide insight and encouragement on how to have a great landscape. Just yesterday Ian installed a new Hunter Hydrawise irrigation controller and he showed me how to program it and set it to run every Wednesday at 4 a.m. to meet the city's watering requirements. Now I can sit at my desk at work and turn zones on and off and review reports and regulate the actual amount of water the system is using to fine-tune the landscape. Today is our assigned watering day and I don't think Captain Kirk has as much control from the bridge of the Starship Enterprise as I do! And yes, I did wake up at 4 a.m. just to watch the system kick off. Kudos to Ian and Dave.

Would recommend this company for any of your irrigation needs. They initially came by in early March to do a minor repair. They were able to fix it at a reasonable cost. But then I had another issue come up today related to the last repair, and they sent one of their lead technicians, Ian.
